Trooper was rescued by Animal Compassion Team because he is awesome and so deserving of love and a family. Unfortunately the people who had Trooper before he came to be in a homeless animal shelter were not kind to him; making him suffer the pain of losing his glorious floppy ears to make him look mean.  They did this injustice with common house scissors. The unimaginable pain caused by this torment did not make Trooper mean or bitter. On the contrary, Trooper is happy-go-lucky, gets along well with other dogs and loves people. He is sweet and playful, loving to play with toys and his people. We count ourselves lucky to know this overly affectionate boy who stole our hearts and are looking to find him a fun, active home. He would love to be the best friend of an outdoorsy couple; one who will take him to experience the lake, the mountains and the ocean. Share your life with Trooper.
