Chelsea was rescued from the streets. An animal-loving human liberated Chelsea from a homeless man who threatened to end Chelsea’s life violently because he couldn’t care for her anymore. I guess he didn’t see any other way, but luckily for Chelsea a bunch of wonderful people stepped up for her and invested their love and kindness. The generous girls at Artistic Pet Salon took in Chelsea, gave her a bath and clipped her nails. Chelsea ate up the attention! The girls from the salon called on Animal Compassion Team to help find a loving home that is ready and willing to adorn Chelsea with toys and beds and comfy blankets. She would be a great snuggle partner as you warm your tootsies by the fire and watch your favorite action film. Don’t be scared by Chelsea’s breed, she is a love machine and just wants to shower you with kisses. If you are the type of person who likes to go hiking on trails, walking the parks, enjoying the great outdoors, ask to meet Chelsea. She is the perfect dog for an active family who likes to share their couch and home with a furry friend.
UPDATES: Chelsea is doing great, she has put on more weight, is doing well with the other dogs and cats, crate training is going well as is the housebreaking. She just discovered what to do with the rope toy but is still not sure what to do with others. She has no idea what toys are or what to do with them but she is sure learning quickly and would like to have a whole bunch of toys in her new home. Chelsea LOVES to play! She enjoys romping with her similarly-sized canine brothers and sisters. She also loves to crash on the couch with her human foster family in the evenings. What a great family pet!
