Black Velvet, aka Ebony, is a beautiful little girl. Her coat is so short and soft she feels like velvet when you pet her. Velvet loves to be a lap dog. She is in seventh heaven when she's in your lap and being stroked. Stroking her is also a delight for you because she feels so soft. Velvet is a little hesitant to be picked up but once in your arms, the world is good and she's content to just snuggle in. She gets along well with other dogs but does like to chase cats. She loves children but we feel she would do best in a home with older children, maybe 8 and up. If you have a loving home and would enjoy having a lap dog please contact Velvet's foster mom and arrange a meeting.
