About Lucky Penny

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Tan
  • Current Size: 40 Pounds
  • Current Age: 2 Years 5 Months (best estimate)

Lucky Penny is a lucky girl indeed! She showed up at her Foster Mom's grandmother's house one cold November day, scared, hungry, cold, and afraid of everyone. She would not let anyone approach her, and would run away if you even looked at her. But now, after several months of work, she is the sweetest and friendliest puppy ever! Her Foster Mom took her in, and is finding that Lucky Penny was meant for cuddles all along. She would make a great morning jogging partner, then evening couch potato cuddler.

Lucky Penny is great with all her Foster Doggies siblings, both big and small. She is submissive with new dogs, and is very respectful of their space, but once she gets to know a doggie friend, she wants to just play, play, play! She is very good about not going potty in the house, as long as a schedule is implemented, and she is allowed potty breaks every few hours. She is very good about sleeping in a crate, and and in addition to being quiet and calm in the crate, she will hop right in for a treat. She goes to sleep quickly, and doesn't make a sound until morning (except for her adorable little snores when she's chasing a rabbit in her dreams).
Lucky Penny  is ready to find her new home, and is anxiously waiting to meet you!If you are interested in meeting her, you can email her Foster Mom, Erica at .
